Poolside pit stop

Contemporary bespoke kitchen design

This kitchen-lite in a self-contained pool and jacuzzi house is specially designed for light entertaining and family snacking. It was Johnny’s idea to put a kitchen in the wooden swimming pool building in the clients’ garden. The result is a recreational space full of light and shadow. We used hand-made ceramics as decoration, inspired by the Japanese design of the structure.

The scheme is fluid with curves. The island is a piece of concrete sculpture that grows out of the floor like a mushroom. With its built in induction hob it is perfect for preparing light meals to fuel fun times in and around the pool.
