During the first visit to our client's property, we discuss how we can maximise the given space and brainstorm design options. As no two homes have the same layout, we see each project as a one-off design. Our analysis sometimes leads us into looking at how the whole ground floor functions and we may make recommendations on issues much wider than just the kitchen.

Unlike many other kitchen companies, we don't have a pre-designed line of furniture. All of our projects begin with a design proposal. These creative documents encapsulate your wants and needs for your ideal kitchen and include a cost estimate for your Johnny Grey project.

After you have approved the proposal, we start to design your kitchen. We work closely with you through a series of design meetings during which we will typically put forth two or three different solutions for your space. These meetings culminate in a presentation of the final design, which will then be refined.

Once you commission the project we can start to make the necessary preparations to begin manufacturing your custom kitchen furniture. This involves liaising with architects, contractors, furniture makers and other artisans.

Our workshops are places where the use of head, hands and heart is balanced in the making of beautiful things. We work with a team of highly trained, world-class craftsmen and artists to build your luxury kitchen, using only the finest materials and production techniques.

Johnny Grey professionals are available to properly fit and install your furniture. Johnny Grey Studios will supply your contractor with manufacture and service drawings; we also provide construction administration services and are accustomed to working closely with building contractors. Once the site is checked for readiness to receive our furniture, we oversee delivery.
